DC Meadow is one of four office buildings that form the Danske Campus ecosystem in Vilnius, Lithuania. The buildings have been modeled on distinct natural habitats, with interiors styled and design by A2SM ARCHITECTS. Together, the buildings form a coalescent ecosystem for life and work. Each building functionally complements the others, providing multifunctional spaces for individual work, project work, team building, recreation and child care.
It takes its inspiration from the meadows – open grasslands characterised by the freedom to move and a feeling of calm rejuvenation. With undisturbed vistas over 13,000 sq metres of interior space, the building more than lives up to its muse. An elegant exposed staircase and glass facade span six storeys, creating an endless sensation of open space with stunning views in and out of the building. DC Meadow has approximately one hundred unique meeting spaces, all equipped for digital conferencing. There’s also an amphitheater, for formal company gatherings, a firelit home space for relaxed gatherings, a games room, kitchenettes, coffee corners and a roof terrace for relaxation. The building’s smart LED lighting system can be individually customised by workers or set to illuminate the entire building in vivid hues. At night, the pulse of subtly changing colours illuminates on the surrounding area.
Design that matches your mood
It goes without saying that an interior space of this size requires a masterful acoustic touch. As part of their comprehensive strategy for acoustic design, interior designers A2SM ARCHITECTS have used BAUX designs exclusively in all the meeting rooms to create that calm sense of focus that’s so important for ideas to flow. Each meeting space is a piece of functional art. Workers can choose a workspace that matches their mood or task. BAUX designs furnish the meeting rooms with a distinct ambience and the designers have used BAUX tiles to create colour schemes that help workers to navigate throughout the building. The natural wood wool fibres of the BAUX designs tell the story of natural diversity found in the meadows.
Satisfactionary and sustainable spaces
DC Meadow has been designed as a sustainable habitat where people can live, work and thrive. Danske Campus has been ranked 6th in the Leesman Index – a global benchmark for employee satisfaction that measures all aspects of the workplace experience, from ventilation to the choice of building materials, access to recreation and workplace infrastructure.
We like BAUX products because they have two functions – aesthetics and acoustics. The variety of colours and shapes is perfect for creating a different feeling in each space. Acoustically the BAUX designs make a room feel more intimate. We love materials that are multifunctional!
Sustainable acoustics
At BAUX we understand that our environment has a profound impact on the way we think, feel and interact. Good acoustics are essential for people to relax and feel creative. We spend up to a third of our life in the office, so why not make work a space you want to spend time in?
