EF is one of the world’s leading educational companies specialising in language training, educational travel, academic degree programs, and cultural exchange. In the university town of Cambridge, MA the EF Cambridge Café is a calm oasis for relaxation, learning and contemplation.
The cafeteria located on the first floor acts as a multi-function room, used for lunch breaks, social gatherings and meetings. In this project, the architects prioritised good acoustics and extended the walls to the ceiling to reduce sound reflections caused by trays, cutlery and voices.
